Zintec steel sheet is steel coated (electrolytically) with a small amount of zinc. Other additives to prevent ‘white rust’ are added in this process, and allows zintec to be used in a variety of environments such as washing machines, car bodies and other places.

Zintec steel is dull grey, and often doesn’t oxidise due to the addition of oil or other rust prevention treatments at its creation. It can be used in a variety of environments, such as to produce air conditioning plants and is designed to ensure that it doesn’t rust, flake or ablate during its normal lifetime. It’s not as tough as some other grades of steel, making it unsuitable for external applications without a protective coating. The zinc coating makes it excellent for applying a paint finish whether by powder coating, wet spraying or brush painting.
