Satin polished stainless steel is stainless steel buffed to a matt finish – giving it all of the advantages of traditional stainless steel but an amazingly soft, low reflection finish that is less prone to showing damage but as easy to sterilise as stainless steel. Designed to function well in any environment, depending on the grade, satin polished stainless steel is identical to other finishes of stainless steel in composition, but has been buffed and gently sanded to a low matt shine.

Ideal for use in kitchens, hospitals, food preparation areas, and applications in the science field, satin polished stainless steel is part chromium (up to 10% by weight), and is therefore impervious to rusting or degrading over time in most circumstances. It’s the ideal choice for situations where other metals would fail, and has a great economy over lifetime rating, meaning that it’s a great long-term choice for any plating or other uses you need.
